Command Decision Test of Battle Stolberg Campaign Orders of Battle and Revised Map

Note: this post was revised and updated on March 19, 2016.

I have continued working on the Stolberg Campaign for Command Decision: Test of Battle. This campaign came in the 1st and 2nd editions of the Command Decision rules. You will need those to fully understand the campaign. I have also converted the 1st edition map to a hex map, with 1 hex = 1200 yards. The unit locations in the orders of battle relate to my revised hex map (of the 1st edition map). I have also posted a copy of the map from the 1st edition of Command Decision.

Here are the orders of battle (note these are the updated versions as of March 19, 2016):

American forces: American CD TOB Game OB Stolberg v1.5

German forces: German CD TOB Game OB Stolberg v1.3

Here is a link to the Command Decision 3 version of these orders of battle: https://jdglasco.wordpress.com/2016/03/19/command-decision-3-stolberg-campaign-and-revised-campaign-map/

Here is a copy of my revised 1st edition map with hexes, 1 hex = 1200 yards (click for a larger map):

Stolberg 4 1 inch = 1200 yards

Here is the original map from the 1st edition of Command Decision (the key to it also applies to my revised hex map):

Bill, thanks for posting the links on the CD: TOB page. I’ve requested a new password, but nothing received yet.

Bill, The OBs and map are as far as I’ve gotten. I’m still thinking about the campaign, but it will have to wait for awhile due to work and family issues.

Jeff, This is really great! I have wanted to do this one. Have you put together campaign guidelines for CD:TOB? Every edition had guideline but this one. Unfortunately I cannot find all the editions’ campaign sections. Until then I could use this as the basis for a Great Battles of WWII game. Thanks!
